Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve properly blogged about something. I’m not even sure what exactly I want to talk about in this post. Oh, well.
The other night, I tuned into my iPod and began listening to The Killers. When I was ten years-old, I claimed The Killers were my favorite band ever. This is untrue now; I love Bloc Party and Andrew Bird. Anyway, listening to The Killers felt very nice. I wouldn’t say it was nostalgic because nostalgia always made me feel bittersweet. So, “nice” is the right word to use to describe this experience.
My favorite album of their’s is Hot Fuss. I love so many songs from that record, like “Change Your Mind,” “Believe Me Natalie,” “On Top,” and “All These Things That I’ve Done.” So when I listened to these songs again, I was reminded back to myself six years ago. It was great!
